We all know how hard it is to find a toxin-free, vegan, all-natural deodorant that actually works.
Some smell great upon application, but then melt to leave your pits a sweaty, stinky mess. Others go chalky and leave white patches, while some are just plain pretty but serve no real purpose.
Herewith, a round-up of some real-life vegan deodorants that we tried and tested and actually loved. WE hope you do too!
This easy-to-apply paste is made with natural and organic ingredients and has an unobtrusive, natural scent that won’t overwhelm. It helps neutralise odour without harmful chemicals or by blocking sweat glands and the proof really is in its performance – it kept me feeling and smelling fresh all day, well into the evening.
Best of all, for the month of October, 2019, this deodorant is donning pink packaging and Black Chicken Remedies will donate $2 from the sale of every tub to National Breast Cancer Foundation.
This is one of the best deodorants I’ve ever used, hands down. And it ticks all the boxes – vegan, cruelty-free, 100 percent natural and plastic-free, earth-loving cardboard packaging! It’s also Australian owned and made, which I love.
What’s also really important, is that it stands up in terms of performance. I can apply this, wear it all day and still be smelling sweet later that same evening! It has a beautifully clean eucalyptus and honey myrtle scent, which doesn’t clash with your fragrance, and with shea butter and vitamin E, it’s also really soothing on the armpits.
Aluminium free and lightly scented, this applies cool, so instantly calms the skin (great if you shave your underarms). It keeps you feeling fresh all day and definitely keeps B.O at bay!
The pure essential oils in this vegan, aluminium formula smells divine. They instantly make you feel fresh and feminine and you stay that way all day!
More like a balm than a stick, these apply dry to touch and smooth on beautifully, leaving your skin softly scented with one of four all-natural, essential oil-based fragrances (my fave is ylang ylang rose). They can also be used just as a fragrance balm, applied to wrists or pulse points, when you want a little bit of fragrance to pep up your day!
With a soft blend of Geranium, Cedarwood and Patchouli oil, this neutralises odours and refreshes the skin. It’s great to keep in your bag for a quick spritz on steamy days!
While I am a bit biased (rose is my fave scent), this is hands down one of the best natural deodorants, ever. I love that it can also be used as a body spray, but importantly, it’s gentle on your armpits, aluminium free and keeps you fresh for hours.
All-natural and handmade, I just love the ease of use with this little beauty. You simply massage over your pits to keep them soft, smooth and sweet-smelling all day. The only draw-back is you need to find a little dish to house it in, but that’s really no biggie at all.
With a fresh coconut scent to mask any odours from spray tan, or your natural body processes, this uses witch hazel and sodium bicarbonate to keep you safely fresh throughout the day.
With zesty lemon, this neutralises bacteria and keeps you fresh all day long. Guys will love it’s uplifting scent, too.
An organic probiotic deodorant with a blend of healthy magnesium, essential oils and ingredients selected for their antimicrobial benefits. While Kind-ly have a wonderful range of deodorants, their Lavender & Bergamot received a Highly Commended at this years Nature’s Health Natural Beauty Awards.
